We welcome you to learn more about beliefs and values!
The practical & Spiritual Impact of Values:
These beliefs serve as the foundation for a well-rounded Christian walk. They shape how we view our purpose, interact with others, and live out our faith in everyday life. From baptism to operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and living out our faith in the marketplace, each aspect enriches our spiritual journey and strengthens our witness to the world. They allow us to grow as a church, empowering believers to fulfill their God-given purpose with integrity, authenticity, and anointing.

Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior
The foundation of our faith is accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. This decision is not just about securing eternal life but entering into a personal relationship with Jesus, allowing His love and guidance to transform us. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross opens the door to salvation, freedom from sin, and a restored relationship with God.
Key Scripture: John 14:6 - "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Impact: Accepting Jesus as Lord empowers believers to live with purpose, knowing they are loved, forgiven, and guided by God Himself. This choice affects our identity, our choices, and our destiny.

At K.E.M., we believe in the power and significance of baptism in Jesus' name for the forgiveness of sins and as an act of obedience to Christ's command. Baptism is not just a symbolic act but a declaration of faith and entry into a new life in Christ. Through baptism, we identify with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, signifying our rebirth as new creations.
Key Scripture: Acts 2:38 - "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"
Impact: Baptism in Jesus' name signifies a clean slate and a commitment to a transformed life in Christ. It is a step of faith that invites the Holy Spirit to guide, empower, and renew our hearts.

Operating in the Holy Spirit
We believe that every believer should be led by the Holy Spirit, who empowers, convicts, and guides us in truth. The Holy Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts, encourages us in times of hardship, and enables us to grow in the fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper, and source of strength for the journey of faith.
Key Scripture: John 16:13 - "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth."

Impact: Operating in the Holy Spirit involves daily surrender and sensitivity to God's voice. It gives believers wisdom, spiritual discernment, and the courage to walk in faith, serving as effective witnesses of Christ's love and power.

The Five-Fold Ministry
K.E.M. believes in the Five-Fold Ministry as outlined in Ephesians 4:11, a biblical model that equips the church to grow and mature in Christ. These five roles are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, each serving a unique function in the Body of Christ. These roles are not titles of prestige but responsibilities to equip, edify, and unify believers for the work of the ministry.
Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:11-13 - "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God."
